ANSACA WELCOMES NACA DELEGATION FOR ASSESSMENT OF KP-FRIENDLY HIV SERVICES IN FIVE ANAMBRA HEALTH FACILITIES

The Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA) has welcomed a delegation from the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) to Anambra State for a four-day supportive supervision and assessment of Key Population (KP)-friendly HIV services across five selected health facilities.
The exercise, scheduled for September 14–17, 2026, follows a Global Fund-supported training of healthcare workers from the selected facilities on the provision of sensitive, respectful, inclusive and non-discriminatory HIV services to key populations.
The assessment will evaluate how effectively the trained healthcare workers are applying the knowledge and skills acquired, identify existing gaps and provide technical support towards improving the quality and accessibility of HIV services.
The NACA delegation will be supported by relevant state HIV response stakeholders, including the** SASCP and the State KP Chair**, throughout the exercise.
This collaboration further strengthens our commitment to ensuring that every person, irrespective of population group, can access quality HIV prevention, testing, treatment and care services without stigma or discrimination in Anambra State.
