ICCG Dr. John Rich Ubah Calls on Nigerian Govt To Prioritize Good Leadership

Founding President and International Corps Commandant General, ICCG, Chap. Dr. John Rich Ubah has called on Governments at all levels, Nigerian Leaders and politicians to prioritize good leadership if they want people to do the right thing or a better society.
He made the call during the The Crown Patriots Chaplaincy International, Nigeria National Command's National Stakeholders Convention NASACON which held at Greenville Hotel, Obosi Idemili North LGA, Anambra State.
According to him, if the leadership is right, you will discover we don’t need to struggle to push people to do the right thing. Dr. Ubah emphasized that good leadership must be rooted in transparency, accountability, selfless service, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of citizens. According to him, when leaders prioritize the people over personal interests, institutions become stronger, policies become more effective, and public trust is restored.
He urged government officials to lead by example and create an enabling environment that empowers citizens, promotes equity, and drives sustainable growth.
Ubah noted that nation-building is a collective responsibility and that with purposeful leadership, Nigeria can overcome its present challenges and secure a better future for generations to come.
Moreover, the Crown Patriots Chaplaincy International, Nigeria National Command has inducted eight new members and decorated several patrons in a ceremony held at Greenville Hotels and Gardens Ltd, Obosi, Idemili North LGA, Anambra State.
Recall that Crown Patriots Chaplaincy International, CPAC, is a duly registered chaplaincy organization in Nigeria with its International Headquarters in Anambra State. The organization is committed to raising professionally trained, competent and ethically grounded chaplains equipped to provide spiritual, emotional, humanitarian, institutional, and community support services.

NASACON '26, themed: "Role of Citizens in Maintaining National Security, Peace Building and Social Cohesion' ICCG, Chap. Dr. John Rich Ubah expressed gratitude to officers, commandants, chaplains, cadets, stakeholders, partners, and guests for the success of the convention.
He described the convention as more than an annual assembly.
"NASACON is the strategic pulse of our organization where vision is clarified, leadership is sharpened, policy is defined, and our collective resolve to nation-building is reaffirmed. It provides us a sacred moment to reflect, evaluate, innovate, and align our efforts with the mandate entrusted to us," he said.
Speaking on the mandate of chaplaincy, Dr. Ubah added: "The heart of a chaplaincy beats for God, for people, and for the responsibility of restoring hope to the hopeless, healing to the broken, peace to the troubled, and light to places of darkness. It is a ministry of presence in times of crisis, and a ministry of guidance in times of stability."
Chap. General Ubah described chaplaincy as "service to humanity", noting that CPAC currently operates in 13 countries worldwide.
Ubah described the annual convention as impactful and said it would reposition officers for greater service. He also called on both state and federal governments to prioritize good leadership.
Addressing the newly decorated patrons, Most Rev. Dr. Friday Asuquo Ibanga, who was also honored with the Global Leadership and Grand Defender of the Faith Award, reminded them that the title comes with responsibility.
"To be a patron is not tea in the cup. It is a special privilege to manage power. Do not be compromised. This honour is beyond religion," he said, praying God to stand with them.
Moreso, One of the decorated patrons and former President General of Obosi community, Sir Dan Igbokwubili said that if CPAC was given opportunity they will do more in reforming youths and rehabilitating those who have gone the way of criminality." God is using CPAC to do marvelous things including evangelism and service to humanity so they need assistance to do more.
Another decorated patron, Hon. Apostle Patrick Obinna Okafor, pledged to do more for the chaplaincy.
"This award will make me do more work for the chaplaincy. Chaplaincy is working for humanity. I will dispose everything God has deposited in me for this work," he said.
Also speaking, Comrade Tony Eze commended all awardees and urged them to remain steadfast.
Other Award recipients decorated as patrons include Chap: Ekeke Amarachi Bishop and Chap Gen. Ambassador Grace Ezechukwu. They expressed gratitude to CPAC for the recognition and promised to do more services to humanity.
