It was Jubilation galore for 400 lucky winners of Uduakommiri Uche Bu Aku Concept Raffle Draw 2026, held at Keke park 3-3 junction, Onitsha suburb, Anambra State.
Recall that on the fateful day there was a mammoth crowd of those that tried their luck, who had come with their families, friends and well wishers with the aim of winning at least one or two items as all was done in the open.
Sunday Nwokike, the CEO of Uduakommiri Uche Bu Aku Concept Raffle Draw, had earlier in his speech, addressed the gathering saying everything would be done transparently to the satisfaction of all who participated and witnessed the raffle draw.
"There is no magic or deceit, you will all see with your naked eyes as everything will be done in the open. We have branches in some states and cities that include, Enugu, Owerri, portharcourt, among others.
"What we are doing is to assist the people for better welfare, if you are a lucky winner you win any of those items we display with a ticket of #1,500 that include, motorcycle (Super 150) Qlink, that is the star price," he stated
Other prizes to be won are, Redmi Android phone, Semolina, Indomie Noddies. Gas cylinder, Rice 10kg, Power bank, Spaghetti, Bone straight hair. 10 Dollars, Chivas hair oil. Men and female sandals, Plastic chair. iphone 12, among others.
At the end of the raffle draw the star prize went to Onyeaba Nsugbe who thanked God and prayed for the CEO of the group to sustain the raffle draw to help better the welfare of the poor
He expressed surprise at winning the star prize adding that God has always come to his rescue and urged those who did not win any item not to despair but remain prayerful.
The event attracted scores of comedians and actors that included, Iyoo cash out, Efi Igbo, among others.
Hon. Fidelis Igwebuike, the National Democratic Congress, NDC candidate for Anambra West, in the State House of Assembly disclosed that about 60 youths have been employed in the raffle draw.
His words, "This is a game of luck, my luck shined today so I won one already and I am expecting to win more because I bought 35 tickets. I encourage everybody if you have such an opportunity you can also try your luck".
Evelyn Ponfa, from Plateau state said, " I feel very happy because I won today. The last time of the raffle I won Gas cylinder.
"May God Bless the CEO of this raffle draw and multiply anywhere he is getting money to support this movement," she prayed
Also Chigozie Awkaeze from Igbariam stated, "I have already won upto four items including 17 Ultra phone.
"What the CEO is doing is transparent, I am very happy for the movement,"he said.
Chinedu Ejike, from Ochanja market Onitsha, revealed, "I deal in electronics, I won a lot of things today and still winning more because I purchased a lot of tickets" he stated.
