Nkwoka Distributes Equipments Supplied by Gov. Soludo To 10 Health Facilities in Idemili North

The Mayor of Idemili North, Hon Stanley Nkwoka (Ochendo Idemili) has distributed medical equipments worth millions of naira supplied by Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State to 10 Health Facilities in Idemili North Local Government Area.
Speaking on Monday June 15, 2026 at Ogidi, the Mayor who was represented by an esteemed special guest, the wife of the Mayor, Lady Ebele Nkwoka thanked His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Soludo for his healthcare initiatives and investment in the health sector to ensure that the health and well-being of of Ndi Anambra is improved.
"I thank His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Soludo 'Oluatuegwu' for providing these medical equipments. He has also given free antenatal and delivery to Ndi Anambra. I also thank the wife of the Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo for her Healthy Living programs. Every Saturday we come out for workouts and sports in this LG Secretariat from 7am to 10am.
"I want the Ward Development Committee WDC Chairmen, Officers in charge OICs of Primary Healthcare Centers PHCs and other community stakeholders present to ensure preservation of all these medical equipments received today in there various communities and that they are used for the purposes intended," said Nkwoka.
In her welcome address,Director/HOD Health Idemili North LGA, Mrs Chinwe Okeke after appreciating Governor Soludo said that the medical equipment being distributed was a clear demonstration of the government's dedication to strengthening the health system and improving the well being of the people.
Moreso, the anchor of the program, Chairman, Committee on Health Idemili North, Hon Mrs Ify Omenuwa thanked Prof Charles Soludo and his wife Dr Nonye Soludo, Wife of the Mayor, Lady Ebele Nkwoka, HLGA, Engr Emeka Achokwu, the HPM, the Director/HOD health, Mrs Chinwe Okeke, Supervisory Councilor for Health, Dr Nkem Okeke, and Other Stakeholders for their commitments in making the distribution exercise a success and for their immense contributions and services towards providing and improving health care delivery.
They all encouraged the recipients to utilize the medical equipments responsibly, maintain them properly and ensure that they were used for the purpose of providing efficient and effective healthcare services.
The items distributed to each of the 10 Health Facilities include: Delivery bed 1pc, Hospital bed 3pcs, Mattress 3pcs, Delivery set instrument 1pc, Visitors Chair 1pc, BP apparatus 1pc, Height Measurement 1pc, Baby weighing scale 1pc, Instrument for measuring HB, Sugar, Cholesterol 1pc, Antishock garment 1pc,
Others are MUAC Tape 1pc, Dressing Trolley 1pc, Dressing pack 1pc, Sunction machine 1pc, Pulse oximeter 1pc, Fetoscope 1pc, Pillows 3pcs, Bedsheets/pillow cases 3pcs.
