Earlier we support our brother Obi, better for us - Ebube Muonso tells Ndigbo

Spiritual Director, Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Fr Emmanuel Obinma popularly known as Ebube Muonso has called on Ndigbo to rally support for Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 general election.
The cleric made the call shortly after distributing bags of rice to over 300 elderly persons in Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra state.
He said he had a ministration in his spirit that Peter Obi would make a better president of Nigeria, describing him as the hope of Ndigbo and vessel the country needed to move forward.
He said, As election is fast approaching, Igbos don't need to be told to rally around Peter Obi. He's the hope for every average Igbo man.
"I don't think that Ndigbo, in years to come will get a man that has attracted this general and global acceptance like Obi.
"Let our governors key into this vision. Ojukwu declared sovereign state of Biafra because of intimidation, nepotism, tribalism, man's inhumanity to man, insecurity.
"Last Saturday, we observed seat at home because of the efforts of our past heroes trying to realize the sovereign state of Biafra.
"Our forefathers, Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu and others were resilient in fighting for our emancipation. I salute them today.
"Even though the vision was not realized because of sabotage from Igbo brothers and up till today, we still experience same sabotage today. It's quite unfortunate.
"How I wish the Igbo will adopt the philosophy of love, which was the philosophy that kept Igbos together even after the Biafran war.
"There's need for us to love one another so the society can move forward. The seed of Christianity is that of love, and we need that virtue, especially the Igbo extraction.
"Let our Igbo brothers know that the earlier we build our own state and support our own brother, the better for us.
"My spirit is telling me Peter Obi will do well and he is the vessel we need to move the federal republic of Nigeria forward."
