The candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC party for the Federal House of Representative Idemili North and South Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections, Engr. Eric Nnamdi Anyamene has promised to transform the hopes of Umu Idemili into reality when he gets to the green chamber at Abuja,
Anyamene gave the assurance at his country home Obosi, Anambra State while thanking Umu Idemili who voted massively for him in the primary election shortly after his declaration as the winner of party primaries to become the NDC flag bearer to run for House of Representative Idemili North and South Constituency seat.
According to him,To our voters who voted for hope during the primaries and who will eventually vote in the general elections..
"We are going to Transform their hopes into Reality in terms of Education, Infrastructure, Healthcare and Actual Empowerment.
"We are going to show the people what it means to have Effective representation come 2027. People would be happy for it. Idemili people will understand what Actual representation means.
"From Day 1, we did not come into this race because we want our names to appear anywhere. We have a perfect plan and this plan will be executed to the letter.

"We are going to the National Assembly to ensure that government actually gets to the people, that actually the people of Idemili North and South Constituency have the taste of what it feels like being part of the enclave called Nigeria.

Our people turned out enmasse. The election was free, fair and acceptable. People gave their mandate. readily and willingly to us. We are very grateful for that.
"I want to promise the people that the support and mandate given to us will not be taken for granted.
"I am actually elated by the turnout of the people. At some point I was actually asking myself 'Am I the one all these people are here to vote for. They were all chanting 'Eric or Nothing ' I am very grateful to Umu Idemili and mostly to the Almighty God for the wonderful victory.
The massive turnout as I was told was unprecedented. I am very grateful.

"Mr Peter Obi by the Grace of the Almighty God will be sworn in as the President, Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come May 2027 and when that happens this economy will go from consumption to production.
