Anambra Police command recovers arms, suspected stolen cash, incriminating items

The Operatives of the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu,(CP) Special Patrol, at about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, during an offensive security operation in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government area, recovered one pump-action rifle, one locally fabricated single-barreled rifle, one ash Toyota highlander with reg nos: UWN 680 PE, suspected stolen cash amounting to ₦636,700.00 and other incriminating items.
The recovery followed the abandonment of an operational vehicle by fleeing suspects after it was involved in an accident during a hot pursuit by the operatives.
According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Tochukwu Ikenga (SP), "The suspects are currently being tracked, and intelligence-led operations have been intensified to ensure their arrest. Further development shall be communicated, please
