Nov 8: Group proffers pathway towards hitch-free poll

Ahead of Saturday's Gubernatorial Election, a group operating under the umbrella of Anambra State Team of Supervisors (ASTOS) has identified critical measures needed to guarantee a hitch free exercise
The group underscored the importance of educating the electorate on voting procedure and securing their votes.
Convener of ASTOS, Kingsley Eche Ngugu said the group had gathered experts, Opinion Leaders and Stakeholders to deliberate on practical solutions that would improve the outcome of the election.
"We are gathered here due to an exigent need to reorientate the people on electoral system, ways to curb all electoral anomalies and secure our votes on 8th November,2025.
"We have a comprehensive agenda planned, featuring insightful presentations, interactive workshops and robust discussions.
"I am confident that the deliberations from this symposium will yield positive impact on the outcome of the election"
While encouraging the electorate to be vigilant to secure their votes, Ngugu acknowledged that Governor Chukwuma Soludo leadership had brought remarkable transformation across the state.
"Your administration has indeed proven to be People centered and vision oriented. The team of supervisors ranks you as the most performed governor in Anambra state since the past quarter century," he added.
Earlier, Chairman on the occasion, Engr Nnaemeka Oraka called on the electorate to come out en masse and participate actively during the election.
Participants were drawn from the academia, professional bodies and political actors, which also featured award presentations to the Governor and Mayors of Local Government Areas.
