Anambra guber: ASMATA women wing assures victory for Soludo, demands 2nd tenure for him

The women wing of Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders' Association, ASMATA, led by Hon. Mrs Grace N. Okonkwo, has assured that Governor Chukwuma will win the November 8 gubernatorial election in the state sequel to his numerous achievements that include, road construction, health which she said involved five specialist hospitals he built, change of face of Okpoko and Fegge with roads, hospital, free ante natal, among others.
"Employment through one youth two skills system, about 8,000 teachers, more than 1200 medical personnel employed, restoration of security, we now sleep with our two eyes closed. Peace restored in all markets, courtesy of ASMATA PG, Chief Humphrey Anuna (Ogwu Ndi Ahia, Solution PG), and the Special Adviser, (SPAD), to Governor Soludo on Trade and Markets, Hon. Evaristus Ubah" she further disclosed.
"Women should come along with their wrappers to relax with and wait for the INEC personnel that do not come on time to commence the voting exercise. If you don't come with your wrappers it may amount to going back to collect it and by the time you come back it may be late for you to vote," she cautioned.
She reminded the electorate of the need not to mortgage their conscience adding that once mortgaged, one has to suffer it for the next four or eight years even as she advised them to get their cards ready for the election.
Contributing, the ASMATA women wing secretary, Ifeoma Okoli, said, "We will ensure we vote and wait for the count of the votes to ensure the votes count. The achievements of Soludo will speak for him on the day of the voting".
In her speech, the women leader, Abada International market, Onitsha, Mrs Amaka Okoye, expressed optimism that Soludo will be returned for second tenure based on his intimidating achievements in the state.
"He will win again, 4 plus 4 to make it 8 years because he has performed so much on all spheres of the economy. Roads, health, empowerment, agriculture, empowerment and even security because without security there wouldn't be development," she stated.
Mrs Kate Elechi, woman leader, Ochanja Central market, recalled that, " When Soludo addressed the people at Top Class hotel he pledged to develop Okpoko adding that today he has fulfilled his pledge.
She stated that she has been waiting for a day like this gathering of ASMATA women leaders to strategize and air their views on Soludo's achievements and second tenure bid pointing out that he is God-sent to ameliorate the sufferings of the people in the state.
"We no longer talk of out door campaigns for Soludo, it is now house to house to ensure landslide victory for him, 21/21. We shall assist the elderly women and some others who are suffering from parkinson's diseases, eye problems to vote", she pleaded
