Foundation Inculcates Critical Thinking, Polite Expressions in School Children as
Ojoto Rising Star Holiday Program 2025 Begins

School Children have been groomed to practice critical thinking and polite expression as essential values for character development.
The character development values were inculcated during the long-break holiday children’s program organized by Ojoto Rising Star Charity Foundation.
The program themed “Critical Thinking and Going Green” commenced after pre registration started on Wednesday, 27th August 2025, at Ojoto community, Idemili South L.G.A., Anambra State.
The opening day was marked with excitement and active participation from the children, who were introduced to the Foundation’s vision of building safe spaces for learning, interaction, and growth.
According to one of the facilitators Nnoruka Ifeoma Rita who spoke on behalf of the Secretary, Ojoto Rising Star charity foundation, One of the major highlights of the day was a practical session on social etiquette and values, where the children were taught the importance of using kind and polite expressions such as “Thank you,” “Sorry,” “Excuse me,” “Please,” and “You’re welcome.
” The session helped to instill respect, empathy, and courtesy — essential values for character development.
"The children also engaged in interactive activities designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and foster open communication. The joyful atmosphere
reflected the program’s goal of nurturing responsible, well-mannered, and critical-thinking children in a safe and fun environment.
"Day One has set a strong foundation for the days ahead, and the children are already looking forward to more impactful and exciting activities as the program continues.
"We remain grateful to HRH Igwe Gerald Mbalu Eze Ojoto, Ezeoranyelu, Dr Emeka Uzoh Ifeghelu, Chief Amaka Awogu Nwanyibuife, Nwadikachoro Ajibo Ojoto and all the resource persons," she said
