Anambra guber: We are not going back to Egypt, Soludo we know - Onitsha market chairman

Satisfied with the numerous achievements of Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, the chairman of Sokoto Road Traders Association, Onitsha, Hon. Emeka Mbachu, has vowed that residents and traders in the state will not go back to Egypt by voting selfish People who were not able to achieve anything during their administration but will vote en masse for Soludo come 8 November gubernatorial election.
Addressing traders when he mobilized those of them from different political parties to go and register to procure the voter's cards, Hon. Mbachu, told them that he was doing that because Soludo touched all aspects of the economy in less than four years and expressed optimism that in his second tenure his achievements will surpass what he did in first tenure.
"Governor Soludo and my brother, Deputy governor, Onyekachi Ibezim, are doing marvelously well. With what they are doing you see that the tax we are paying is not in vain. Their achievements are there for all to see, it is eye mark not ear mark.
"This is just one tenure that has not ended, second tenure will be more. I am emulating Soludo's achievements. He has created employment opportunities for jobless youths roaming the streets through one youth, two skills initiative, employed over 8,000 teachers, rehabilitated and constructed good road network that each community can boast of at least one major road that passes through its community.

"For years we have been begging successive administrations to work on the damaged Nwangene bridge and the Sokoto road but our plea fell on deaf ears until Soludo came on board and worked the bridge. With this traders will vote for Soludo because all goods imported into Onitsha main market must pass through the bridge including those who come from Delta, Edo, and Southwest to make purchases they pass through the bridge.
"On health Soludo established five general hospitals in Anambra North Senatorial zone and scattered health centres with medical personnel in all communities of the state, provided free education from primary to secondary school, provided crop seedlings to farmers to boost agriculture.

"Petty traders don't pay levy, barrow pushers, vulcanizers, hawkers, among others are exempted from Levy payment. Touts have been sacked out of the state and security which hitherto eluded the state has been restored. So why wouldn't us vote for Soludo when his achievements in three years have surpassed what successive administrations could not achieve in 16 years.
"It was because of the need to return Soludo for second tenure that my wife, Mrs. Chikodili Osinachi Mbachu and I mobilized 150 People from different Political parties who have no voter's card to Mbaukwu where they were registered and got their cards. Two coaster load of people who would have been disfranchised come the gubernatorial election," Mbachu further revealed.
