It is the Turn of Dengramite To Be Governor of Anambra State Says Ukachukwu

..as DMGS Celebrates Home Coming of Ikukuoma To His Alma
Mater

It was an atmosphere of nostalgia as the Anambra gubernatorial aspirant and the All Progressive Congress APC flagbearer, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo) went round his alma mater, Dennis Memorial Grammar School(DMGS) Onitsha in company of his school mates recalling experiences of his secondary school days.

Speaking during the occasion of Homecoming of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) to his alma mater, organized by DMGS Old Boys Association Worldwide (DOBA Ww) at C. J Peterson Auditorium, All Saints Cathedral Onitsha shortly after the school tour, Prince Ukachukwu sought for his school mates support stating emphatically that ' It is the Turn of a Dengramite To Be Governor of Anambra State".

Ukachukwu said that DMGS has produced many great names, talented,  intelligent and resourceful men who have carved a niche for themselves in various fields of endeavor saying that as Dengramite he would bring meaningful development in various sectors of the state to make Anambra regain its status as the light of the nation indeed not only as a nomenclature.

"My alma mater is excited because they know that we can fix Anambra.

"DMGS is a place where people of substance, people of great immense value graduated from. Anyone that passed through DMGS can solve any problem.

"My people are happy because this time around because we are the one that is taking Anambra State to the center where every other thing can be reconnected.

"Nigeria is not running a state economy but Federal economy. When security from the Federal is deployed to a state government but you can not make use of them it is an issue. Our President has moved enough security and money to Anambra State but the government of Anambra State is not managing them well.

"Now, Anambra State is going to be a part and parcel of the Federal Republic under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We will manage the resources from up down to us very well and the one we generate here will be properly managed and in the next few months Anambra will be where it is supposed to be as the Light of the nation.

"We are celebrating because everyone is happy because they know that Anambra State will be far better in the hands of APC, in the hands of a Dengramite.

"Security is paramount in a state, providing enablers is very important to make business and industries to work. If you start businesses without those enablers they will die.It is like planting a crop in a concrete floor, you have already decided that the plant will die. You need to till the soil, manure it before planting to ensure a bumper harvest.

"Even when there is security you should also empower people, carry people along, remove hunger through stomach infrastructure. Some kidnappers are not into crime because they want to but because they chose wrongly out of frustration.

"We are good traders in Anambra but we can grow into having industries that produce what we sell.

"When we were growing up at DMGS we had companies like GMO, etc but now many factories are under lock and key, glorified warehouses, we need to rise up and fix Anambra once again," said Ukachukwu.

Earlier in their separate speeches the President General, DOBA Ww, Dr Sunny Chuba Nwachukwu and the DMGS Principal, Ven Chigozie Anieto wished Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu a resounding success in the coming November 8, 2025 Guber election at the polls with a hitch free period of electioneering campaigns.

"The prayer, support and backing of this global alumni body is for you to emerge victorious.

The duo further requested that Prince Ukachukwu should impact Dengramites as they mark a centenary year by sponsoring the coming 26th and 27th July, 2025 DOBA Convention urging him to give sacrificially towards any of the Infrastructural projects needed in his alma mater to enhance the learning environment, secure the future and ensure that DMGS continues to be a beacon of academic and moral excellence for generations to come.
